Carvana, a fast-growing technology-driven car retailer, is seeking a Driver Trainer to onboard and coach Vehicle Transporters. You will ensure adherence to Carvana policies, safety, and efficient loading. The role emphasizes coaching, energy, and strong communication across the organization.

The position requires CDL A, a clean driving record, and a passion for developing teams while traveling up to 50% of the time in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• CDL class A and clean driving record required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Proficient with word, spreadsheets, systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class onboarding to new Vehicle Transporters at Carvana.
• Lead 2-week training on maneuvering, loading and operating car trailers and logistics equipment.
• Teach safe vehicle loading onto a 9 car hauler with no customer vehicle damage.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on training; mentor new hires.
• Evaluate knowledge transfer using checklists and tools; collaborate with Logistics Managers.
• Travel 50% of the time as required by business needs.
