Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a hands-on Cleaning Crew Supervisor in Georgia to lead sewer cleaning and jobsite prep activities. You will supervise crews and subcontractors, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure work meets safety standards and project requirements across regions with substantial overnight travel.

You will conduct safety meetings, inspections, and daily reports while maintaining customer relationships and ensuring quality throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field leadership experience (foreman, crew leader, or supervisor).
• Experience with sewer cleaning, jet/vac, CCTV inspection, or trenchless rehab is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily sewer cleaning and jobsite preparation activities.
• Coordinate crew members, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow all safety requirements (Company, OSHA, client, jobsite).
• Conduct daily safety meetings, job hazard assessments, and equipment inspections.
• Direct field personnel according to project plan and company expectations.
• Operate or oversee sewer-cleaning equipment and related tools.
• Review project plans, cleaning requirements, maps, and jobsite conditions before work begins.
• Provide daily safety, production, and progress updates; complete daily reports and logs.
• Coordinate equipment mobilization, jobsite staging, traffic control, and site utilization.
• Monitor project schedule and adjust activities to meet production goals.
• Maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Train and coach crew on safe practices and responsibilities.
