Harford Community College is seeking Travel Docents to serve as tour group leaders on official college travel trips off campus. You will guide groups, ensure safety, provide destination information, and support travelers throughout the trip.

Responsibilities include checking in at stops, recording attendance, and leading participants through itineraries. Requires 21+; high school diploma or GED; 1 year in customer service and ability to work with diverse groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer-service experience directing or guiding a group.
• Must be 21+ with photo ID and able to communicate professionally with diverse groups.

Responsabilités

• Guide participants to off-campus destinations.
• Check in at destinations and accompany the tour.
• Provide information about local attractions and answer questions.
• Record attendance at various points on the trip.
• Lead participants through a pre-arranged itinerary and provide customer support.
• Participate in pre- and post-trip debrief meetings.
