Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Kentucky seeks a highly organized Director of Nursing Float to oversee nursing operations across facilities when the DON is absent. This role requires meticulous policy knowledge, regulatory compliance, and a passion for training stakeholders to deliver outstanding resident care.

The candidate must hold RN licensure (multi-state licensure a plus), bring five years of supervisory experience, and be prepared to travel 80–90% with overnight stays Monday–Friday to assigned

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of five years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• 80%–90% travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Nursing Department operations during the absence of a facility Director of Nursing.
• Respond to situations requiring additional resources or oversight, with emphasis on process, systems validation and training as required by regulations.
