Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a detail-oriented Director of Nursing Float to oversee nursing operations across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes policy knowledge, regulatory compliance, and training stakeholders while traveling Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, multi-state licensure eligibility, and at least five years of supervisory nursing experience. Expect 80–90% travel with overnights, and eligibility for comprehensive benefits and advancement

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse; ability to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Minimum of five (5) years related nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Eighty to ninety percent (80% - 90%) travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department during the absence of a facility Director of Nursing in accordance with policies, standards of nursing practices, reimbursement compliance and governmental regulations.
• Assist with development and implementation of job skills training and in-service education for the nursing department to ensure compliant and high-quality resident care.
