Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and related equipment. The role requires travel across OK, TX, LA, KS, and CO, with inventory, safety, and DOT compliance emphasized.

Service trucks are provided in Oklahoma City, and candidates should be comfortable working independently in the field. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of heavy-duty diesel experience, strong diagnostic abilities across diesel and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems (REQUIRED).
• Fabrication and welding experience required.
• Valid driver’s license; able to pass DOT physical.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states (Hotel accommodations & per-diem provided).

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium/high-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, transmissions, and A/C systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify failures and perform repairs right the first time.
• Complete repairs with proper welding/fabrication as needed; maintain truck and tool inventories.
• Document repairs and communicate updates with management; comply with safety and DOT rules.
