Quik Travel Staffing provides dialysis and hospital nursing professionals to partner facilities on a travel basis. We focus on ensuring competitive wages and comprehensive benefits, with a dedicated team supporting nurses throughout each assignment across the country.

We are seeking a Chronic Dialysis Technician (PCT) to assess and adjust dialysis therapy, educate patients and families, and travel to various assignment locations.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of dialysis technician experience.
• Current CCHT or BONENT certification.
• Nebraska state dialysis certification in good standing.
• BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings).
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).

Aufgaben

• Assess patient response to dialysis therapy.
• Make adjustments to treatment plans per physician guidance.
• Assess patient pre-, interim-, and post-dialysis and document findings.
• Administer medications as ordered to patients.
• Educate patient and family about end-stage renal disease and dialysis therapy.
• Travel to assignment locations.
• Work the facility’s required schedule.
• Complete onboarding items promptly.
• Adapt to new environments while maintaining high patient care.

Job Description - Chronic Dialysis Technician (PCT)

• Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy.
• Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.
• Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings.
• Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients.
• Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: renal care technician, dialysis technician, dialysis tech.

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis technician
• Current dialysis certification in good standing (CCHT or BONENT)
• Current Nebraska state dialysis certification in good standing or you can applyonce submitted
• BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
