Job summary

Quik Travel Staffing seeks a Chronic Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support dialysis patients across facilities. The role includes assessing therapy responses, adjusting plans under supervision, documenting findings, and educating patients and families about dialysis, diet, and medications.

Flexibility to travel to assignment locations is essential. Onboarding promptly and meeting the facility schedule are required, with the title also known as renal care technician, dialysis technician, or

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis technician.
• Current dialysis certification in good standing (CCHT or BONENT).
• Current New Mexico state dialysis certification in good standing.
• BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings).
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy.
• Makes adjustments to treatment plans as directed by supervisors or physicians.
• Assesses pre, interim, and post dialysis and documents findings.
• Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients.
• Educates patient and family about end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• Travel to assignment location as needed.
• Work the facility’s required schedule.
• Complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Adapt to new environments while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Job Description - Chronic Dialysis Technician (PCT)

• Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy.
• Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.
• Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings.
• Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients.
• Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: renal care technician, dialysis technician, dialysis tech.

Job Requirements
