Job summary

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking an Acute Dialysis RN to provide care in hospital settings across our travel assignments. You will assess patients, perform treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate with physicians and staff to develop treatment plans.

Requirements include 1+ year of acute/inpatient dialysis experience, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis skills, BLS/ACLS, and an active RN license in good standing. Travel, housing stipends, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent acute/inpatient dialysis nurse experience.
• Hemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis experience is required.
• Apheresis experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current state RN license in good standing, or a compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments to acutely ill patients in an acute or hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient response before, during, and after treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and fluid therapy.
• Operate, maintain, and disinfect dialysis equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to develop treatment plans.
• Respond to emergencies and manage complications during dialysis.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment expectations.
• Support and train hospital staff on dialysis procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Acute inpatient dialysis experience

Hemodialysis & Peritoneal dialysis

Apheresis experience (preferred)

RN licensure (state), BLS/ACLS

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing school

Current RN license in good standing (state or compact)
