Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves setting up operating rooms, maintaining sterile environment, passing instruments, and supporting the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

Requirements include one year of CVOR experience and a current BLS certification. CST or equivalent certification preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards.
• Maintain familiarity with cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures.
• Perform duties as assigned within scope of practice.
