Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 14-week travel assignment in Lexington, KY. The role requires one year of CVOR tech experience and a current BLS certification, with CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities include setting up the OR, maintaining sterile conditions, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring equipment readiness. Travel pay package includes comprehensive benefits and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST certification preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs and pass instruments to maintain flow.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards.
