Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied seeks a travel CVOR Technologist in Reno, Nevada. The position supports the cardiac surgical team in the CVOR environment and requires readiness for a 13-week assignment.

You'll assist the cardiovascular surgeon, prepare sterile instruments, maintain sterilization, and arrange equipment to ensure the surgical devices function properly. Travel professionals welcome, with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technician certification preferred (may be required per state and/or client requirement).
• One year experience as a Surgical Technician in a CVOR (cardiovascular operating room) required.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the cardiac surgeon in the CVOR environment.
• Prepare and provide sterile instruments and maintain sterilization of surgical equipment.
• Arrange surgical equipment and adjust medical tools to ensure devices function properly.
