Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX. You will join a dedicated clinical team and support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced travel role.

The position requires CVOR experience, current BLS certification, and the ability to work 40 hours per week on days in a hospital setting. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered through Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent CVOR surgical tech experience.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper function.
• Transport patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and pass instruments to maintain flow.
• Maintain sterility by cleaning and sterilizing instruments per infection control standards.
• Utilize data from surgical cards for the procedure and surgeon.
