Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX. Work will be 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with travel benefits and competitive pay.

The CVOR RN provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborates with the surgical team, ensures sterile setup of supplies, and supports the patient from preop to post‑op care.

Required: 1 year CVOR RN experience, valid Texas RN license, and current BLS; ACLS preferred. Start date: 10/18/2026.

Qualifications

• One year of CVOR RN experience
• Current RN license in Texas
• Active BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Other certifications and licenses may be required

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare OR and assemble equipment for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and team to deliver coordinated care.
• Ensure sterile supplies and proper patient positioning.
• Provide post-surgical care coordination and handoff
