Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. You will support cardiovascular surgical teams, set up the OR, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of CVOR tech experience, BLS, and CST or equivalent certification. This travel role offers competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support during the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC)
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment to ensure functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
