Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Paramus, New Jersey. This role offers a 40-hour work week, dayshift schedule, and the opportunity to contribute to cardiovascular procedures while experiencing diverse clinical settings with our travel team.

As part of the CVOR team, you will prepare the OR, maintain sterility, assist surgeons, and support efficient case flow.

Qualifications

• One year of CVOR surgical tech experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs and pass instruments to maintain flow.
• Handle specimens with precision and follow protocols.
• Maintain sterility and clean/sterilize instruments as required.
• Follow infection control standards and regulatory guidelines.
