Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Galloway, NJ. The travel role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and a competitive compensation package with full benefits.

Responsibilities include OR setup, equipment checks, patient transport, collaboration with the surgical team, and maintaining sterile, compliant environment. Strong reading, writing, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC)
• CST certification or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to procedures
• Stock supplies and inspect equipment for proper functionality
• Transport patients to and from surgery as required
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the team
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards
• Assist with instrument passing to maintain procedural flow
• Maintain cardiovascular surgical proficiency including open and closed heart cases
