Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. The position involves preparing the OR, passing instruments, and ensuring procedure efficiency under surgeon supervision.

Qualifications include 1 year of CVOR tech experience and a current BLS. Preferred CST certification. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of CVOR surgical tech experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST certification or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment to ensure functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Handle specimens to maintain diagnostic integrity and follow protocols.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards.
• Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures.
