Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role includes 40 hours per week with day shifts, supporting surgical teams in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 18 months as a Surgical Technologist, a high school diploma or OR technologist training, BLS and national certification, and strong dexterity with instruments across varied procedures. Travel benefits and housing assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or Completion of accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training.
• BLS Certified and National Certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of the step‑by‑step procedure for various surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures and assist as a team member as workload requires.
• Perform duties under the supervision of the RN circulator and delegate/supervise tasks to support patient care where appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, unit staff, business office, and medical records to ensure continuity of care.
