Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Reno, NV. The position involves preparing the OR, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting the cardiovascular surgical team.

The role requires at least one year of CVOR experience, current BLS, and CST certification is preferred. Offer includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and 40 hours per week on days.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect equipment for functionality.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility and infection control throughout procedures.
