Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Lake Forest, Illinois. The CVOR RN will provide specialized care in the cardiovascular operating room, supporting open heart procedures and perioperative nursing.

Eligible candidates have 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and a nursing degree. BLS/ACLS may be required. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing support.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work outside the sterile field in the operating suite.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments within the sterile field.
