Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Carbondale, Illinois. This position requires a CVOR RN with acute care surgery experience and an active RN license, for a 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular operating room nursing care before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse in CVOR.
• Assist in instrument handling and patient education in the OR.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
