Job summary

Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The role requires 2+ years of OR experience with cardiovascular/open heart competency and active VT or compact RN license. You will scrub and circulate in CVOR, work 12-hour rotating shifts (36 hours/week), and may float to other OR suites.

Epic EMR experience within the last two years is required. BLS certification is mandatory, CNOR preferred, and travel experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Vermont or compact RN license required.
• Must scrub and circulate in OR.
• BLS certification required.
• CNOR preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with vascular/open-heart competency.
• Epic EMR experience within last 2 years nonnegotiable.
• Public transportation may be limited; reliable transportation recommended.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in CVOR and support cardiovascular cases.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week on travel assignment.
• Maintain high competency in Cardiovascular/Open Heart OR and may float to other OR suites.
• Adapt to a large, academic teaching hospital environment.
