Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role focuses on operating room care for open heart, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in a fast-paced facility.

The position requires a Missouri nursing license, 2+ years in OR/open heart, scrub/circulate experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and willingness to float within the service line. End date: 2027-01-25; start: 2026-10-26.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of professional OR/open heart experience.
• Scrub and circulator experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Transplant procedures experience preferred.
• Trauma level I experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized surgical care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases, including open heart procedures.
• Support high-volume, emergent cases and float within the service line as needed.
• Operate within a fast-paced OR environment and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure patient safety throughout shifts.
