Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing role in Baltimore, MD. The position focuses on post-operative cardiac ICU care in a hospital setting, with a 12-hour shift and rotating schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, and recent ICU experience with post-op cardiac surgery patients; vent, CRRT, Swan-Ganz, EP devices, vasoactive drips, IABP/ECMO knowledge is valuable. Contract length varies with travel needs.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS are required.
• Experience with post-op cardiac surgery patients in ICU is expected.
• Ventilation support, CRRT, Swan-Ganz, epicardial wires/pacemakers handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac ICU patients recovering from open-heart surgeries.
• Monitor ventilator support, CRRT, Swan-Ganz catheters, epicardial wires and pacemakers.
• Administer vasoactive medications and titrate drips per physician orders.
• Respond promptly to patient changes using critical care skills in a high-acuity setting.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
