Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN with an active VA or Compact license for a night shift assignment in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

The role requires 2+ years CVICU experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and Epic Clinical Documentation proficiency. Night shifts are 7p–7a with 3x12s (optional 4x12s), weekends, and a 13-week assignment with epic documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Active VA or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic Clinical Documentation experience required or willingness to complete training class

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3x12 hours with an option for 4x12s
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment duration
• Uses Epic Clinical Documentation system
• Floating required to regular ICU, CV stepdown, and/or cardiac telemetry unit
• On-call responsibilities apply only to select specialty areas within 30 miles or 30 minutes of campus
• Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients in an ICU setting
