Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU Night Shift position requiring fresh heart and CVICU experience with FL or compact licensure.

The role is based in Florida with a 3x12 hour night schedule (19:00-07:00). Epic or Cerner charting will be used, and travelers must have Nursys verification and current CVICU expertise.

Qualifications

Active FL or compact RN license in hand.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required.
Fresh heart experience required.
Must score 3's or 4's on the cardiovascular section of the ICU skill list.
Epic or Cerner charting experience required.
Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks).

Responsibilities

Work in the CVICU unit of a hospital environment.
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00).
Uses Epic charting system.
Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
RTO limited to no more than 10 days, with none permitted during the first or last week of the assignment.
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler.
Candidates with felony, misdemeanor, DUI, DWI, or controlled substance violations will not be considered
