Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel assignment in Houston, Texas. The role emphasizes critical care for complex diagnoses and requires flexibility to float and work EPIC documentation.

Ideal candidates have ICU experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and comfort with ventilators, pressors, and hemodynamics in a Level 1 trauma setting. Nights, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours/week, travel-based position.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS required.
• Minimum ICU RN experience with critical care skills.
• Flexibility to float to similar units and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators, pressors, and hemodynamics per patient needs.
• Read telemetry strips and support blood gas management.
• Float to related units and adapt to EPIC-based documentation.
• Work night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with weekend coverage.
