Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN SICU in Houston, TX for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. The ICU Surgical RN will care for critically ill surgical patients in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting.

Require BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, RN license in TX, and at least 2 years ICU or surgical experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.

Qualifications

• ,RN with valid Texas license; ICU or surgical ICU experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU or surgical experience; ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring needed.
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours; 36 hours per week.
• On-call and weekend work; EPIC charting used.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill surgical patients in ICU Surgical/Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Provide ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Communicate clearly with physicians and care team; assess and respond to changes.
• Perform patient assessments and operate ICU equipment.
