Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CVICU/ cardiac ICU experience.
• Active IL RN license is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS preferred; CCRN/PCCN a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acute care in a Level 1 Trauma facility's Adult Cardiac Intermediate Unit (CVICU stepdown).
• 20-bed unit with private rooms and 1:3 to 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Care for complex cardiac patients including IABPs, temporary pacemakers, and titratable drips.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and monitor patient strips with trained RN responsibilities.
