Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role involves caring for critically ill patients in the ICU, administering advanced therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Start date is 11/10/2026, with a 13-week duration and a 36-hour workweek on a 12-hour night shift. Requirement includes at least one year of CVICU experience, MD RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications; CCRN/TNCC/NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of CVICU RN experience.
• Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocol.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Document assessments and interventions promptly in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations.
