MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Willimantic, Connecticut. This role requires 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure where required.

You will work 40 hours per week, evenings, on a travel basis with housing and benefits provided. The position involves operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Formación

• 18 months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Position CT technologists for CT scans and ensure patient immobilization and safety
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patients; adjust as needed
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IVs and contrast administration when applicable
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and label appropriately
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical tasks and record procedures
• Operate power injectors for contrast media and manage patient records
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and uphold national patient safety initiatives.
