Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with proper immobilization and safety
• Set controls and monitor equipment, adjust as needed
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IVs if applicable
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images
• Schedule patients and support clerical tasks
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment
