Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hanover, PA. The role requires a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least two years of experience performing diagnostic CT procedures in a hospital setting.

The schedule is 36 hours per week with a 12-hour rotating shift. The travel position includes handling contrast administration, venipuncture, and strict patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Two years of CT experience minimum.
• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of hire.
• PA Act 31/33/34/73 clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to established protocols, including contrast administration.
• Adjust protocols and procedures independently using good judgment and technical expertise.
• Utilize CT imaging equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation.
• Administer IV, PO, and rectal contrast media per physician orders and departmental policies.
• Demonstrate venipuncture skills and proper use of power injectors.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate fears.
• Identify patients correctly using two identifiers and follow universal protocol.
• Review patient history and physician orders to ensure compliance with protocols.
• Document patient history in electronic records and ensure proper coding/tracking of exams.
