Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for opportunities in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The role involves 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a 20-week contract with potential extension, supporting a partnering hospital.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT credentials, an active radiologic license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiologic tech experience with CT imaging knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality.
