Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The position requires 18 months of CT Tech experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with state licensure often required.

You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with travel benefits and agency support. The role focuses on accurate CT imaging, patient positioning, IV access when needed, contrast administration and coordination with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images in sequence.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
