Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a Houston, Texas assignment. This 12-week contract requires 40 hours per week with a flexible 8-hour shift and travel benefits.

Start date is 11/30/2026, and you will join a trusted Allied Staffing team providing patient-centered imaging care. Qualified candidates have 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensing as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Setting controls of the CT equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assisting radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and labeling images
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with some clerical functions
• Charging procedures and supplies to patient records
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintains safe work environment and patient safety initiatives
