Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a Bryan, Texas assignment. This role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law. The candidate will work 36 hours per week, with evenings shifts, on a 13-week travel contract.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis
• Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization and safety
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and administer contrast if applicable
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and label correctly
• Schedule patients and perform clerical tasks related to procedures
• Document charges for procedures and supplies
• Handle power injections for contrast media
• Deliver patient care professionally, maintaining safety and quality standards
