MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Danville, Virginia. This contract role runs for 13 weeks with flexible 12-hour shifts and a total of 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state regulations. Travel benefits, housing options, and comprehensive credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT Tech experience in a health care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization and protection.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, adjusting as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast injections.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule procedures and perform clerical duties as needed.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment.
