Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a CT Technologist for travel assignments in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Candidates should have 18 months of CT experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with licensure as required by state law. This travel position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including housing support, health insurance, and credentialing fee

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting controls of CT equipment and monitoring the patient; making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs and inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accurately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
