Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Virginia. ARRT certification and CPR/BLS are required, with a minimum of 1 year CT experience. The ideal candidate will have CT-specific technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting.

This busy academic community hospital offers GE CT scanners, a Chest Pain Center, ceiling staff support, and travel perks including housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• License required if applicable
• Strong critical thinking skills and CT-specific technical competency
• Experience with diagnosing CT-related conditions

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in Radiology CT unit
• Work with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Adults and geriatric patient population, some pediatric cases
• Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
• Every other weekend with variable weekend hours
• No on-call requirements; no floating
• Academic community hospital with 24-hour ED and 2 cath labs
• Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center
