Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Red Bluff, California. This 13-week engagement offers 40 hours per week, overnight shifts, and travel-friendly benefits through MedPro’s network.

As a CT Tech, you will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality images while following safety and patient-care standards. Join a national travel team and enjoy industry-leading support.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls, monitor equipment and patient; adjust as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans and assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical functions; charge procedures to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care; maintain a safe work environment.
