Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract in Columbia, South Carolina. This travel assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour evening shifts, and includes travel benefits through MedPro.

The ideal candidate has 18+ months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and state licensure where required. Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring image quality and

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Appropriately set controls, monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a safe environment.
