Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chicago, IL. The CT Tech will work 40 hours per week with night shifts, using CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images and prepare patients for imaging.

Requirements include 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration, and state licensing if required. Travel bonuses and stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with CT registration, plus state license as required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform essential CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
• Position patients correctly for CT scans and ensure comfort.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast as needed to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accuracy for physicians.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image management.
