Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Computed Tomography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chicago, IL. The CT Tech must have 1 year of experience, ARRT CT, ARRT (R), and BLS certifications, and state licensing where required.

The role involves performing CT scans, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging for physician interpretation, with 10-hour days and a weekly 40-hour schedule. Travel status and stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT tech experience or more preferred.
• Ability to explain procedures and reassure patients.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for radiation use.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain imaging procedures.
• Interpret doctors' orders and position patients for scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to safety protocols.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image handling.
