Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and state licensure when required.

The role involves performing CT imaging, contrast administration, and ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation. The position is a travel assignment with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT imaging experience preferred.
• Current ARRT CT certification and BLS required.
• State licensure as required for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and review imaging requests.
• Explain CT procedures and obtain consent with reassurance.
• Position patients for CT scans and optimize images.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as indicated.
• Review scans for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and documentation.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS as required.
