Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The position features 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and full benefits through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

You must have 18 months CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure in most states. You’ll operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and contribute to high-quality patient care on assignment.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months CT experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT CT or ASRT certification required.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set CT controls and monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IVs; inject contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast and assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Ensure safe, compassionate patient care and maintain a safe work environment.
