Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in York, Maine. The posting notes 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state law. The position runs 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration.

You will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and maintain patient safety while providing quality imaging services. Travel benefits and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologists, operate CT equipment, producing cross-sectional images used to diagnose conditions.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and safety equipment as needed.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patients, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
