TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Machias, Maine. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where applicable.

Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week. The position emphasizes patient preparation, accurate imaging, and safe operation of CT equipment, with duties including contrast administration and image evaluation.

Formación

• 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsabilidades

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients appropriately for scanning.
• Acquire diagnostic CT images with the CT scanner.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed to enhance visibility.
• Assess image quality and ensure safety procedures for radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image handling.
