Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a night shift assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This 13-week travel role features 3x12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and requires ARRT CT certification with 1+ year CT experience.

The CT Scanner department handles head to abdomen imaging, uses Cerner EMR, and demands proficiency with contrast studies and cross-sectional anatomy. First-time travelers are considered; housing stipends and comprehensive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited school.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Maintains patient safety and uses Cerner EMR for imaging data.
• Adheres to departmental protocols and radiology standards.
• Works night shift with patient load of approx. 3 scans per hour.
• Call required, 1 day per week.
